• Keeping our processes in specification and operating within critical parameters is mission critical. Mega Circuit’s laboratory and Quality team has all the modern measurement and analytical equipment needed to control our process and chemistries.
  • Using these tools in combination with state-of-the-art SPC software, our expert engineering and quality personnel keep our process in control and running at optimum levels.
Video Inspection System

2 axes linear measurement device with glass encoder technology with 30x to 180x magnification for performing “Non-Destructive” in process inspection and measurement of PCB/Panels. The unit’s profile and surface illumination provide resolution accuracy to 0.0001”.

Automatic Optical Inspection

Equipped with Microlight illumination block and Spark detection engine to provide necessary contrast for specialty materials. Compares the Gerber data with actual PCB to confirm quality and detect / reject any defects. Generate reports to drive quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Flying Probe Testing Machine

Electrical testing with comparison of PCB to IPC Netlist detects any shorts or opens. Can test up to 1000 volts, with continuity tests as low as 5 Ohms and isolation tests as high as 50 M Ohms.

Optical Coordinate Measuring Machine

Sensitive feature detection and measurement using non-contact LED video probe. Accuracy of (1.5 + 5L/1000) µm with repeatability of ±3 µm (±0.00012") at High Magnification allows for measurement with highest accuracy. Customized reporting of tolerance compared data, pass/fail information, true position of feature and dimensional measurement from DXF file which can be linked to SPC software, spreadsheets, and databases.

Coating Thickness Measuring Instrument

High performance XRF analyzer for measurement of coating thickness and material composition. Measures Electrolytic Gold, Immersion Gold, Immersion Tin, Immersion Silver, Tin-Lead (SnPb) over bare copper, or other metals accurately and generates reports of material composition and thickness.
